Promoting Positive Behaviour

At Ardley Hill Academy we focus our behaviour management on positive reinforcement using our REACH principles. We have adopted a 5 step procedure that is used in all aspects of school, both during lessons and during social times such as break and lunch. The focus is very much to reward the pupils for good behaviour rather than focusing on the negative. However if a certain behaviour persists or is serious there are a series of responses that will follow and may result in a pupil being removed from class.
