FOAH (Friends of Ardley Hill)
What does FOAH do?
We are a group of parents and staff who meet once a month to share ideas and plan events for the children, adults and as a family. The key focus of these events is to create a fun, safe and social environment.
Any funds we raise at FOAH organised events is put back into the Academy. For example over the last few years funds raised have been used:
-
To contribute toward the cost of coaches on various school outings.
-
To pay for the pirate ship located between pre-school and 4+.
-
To pay for high visibility vests for the preschool children.
-
Fully supported the accelerated reading programme introduced in 2018.
-
Paid for reading pods within the school for fun reading time.
- Funded the initial outlay for Buddy our school therapy dog
Our meetings are by no means formal, more a friendly get together. Being a part of FOAH certainly doesn’t mean you have to commit to attending every event or meeting. There are other ways you can find out what we are doing, get in touch with us or have any ideas you would like to share;
visit our Facebook page – Friends of Ardley Hill – FOAH |

Follow us on twitter https://twitter.com/FriendsOfArdley |
Join our parent volunteer’s mailing list. If you provide us with your email address we will send you a copy of the monthly meeting minutes. |
We also involve the Academy Council and listen to what ideas the children have and get them involved with the planning of some of the events.
