P.E.

We will have PE every Friday, although this may sometimes change so PE kits should be in school every day. Your child will need: Black shorts, white t-shirt and suitable footwear. Please ensure all kit is named. Kits can be taken home at the end of every half term.

Swimming

Your child will need: Swimming costume (no bikinis), Towel, Hat (if hair is long, girls and boys), flip-flops (or other shoes) to walk to the pool and a plastic bag to store wet clothing.

What will we be doing?

Throughout Year 5, we will be learning about Space (mission X), the Vikings and Anglo Saxons (Raiders and Traders) and the Ancient Greeks (Groovy Greeks).

For the past couple of months, Canada have been learning all about space and how it is explored. For example, we used oreos to learn about the phases of the moon! We have learnt about stars and constellations and the different explanations for how the Earth began.
